Presenter Guidelines

Presenter Guidelines

The Organizing Committee is thrilled to welcome you as a presenter at the International Conference on Advancement in Engineering, Technology and Social Science (ICAETSC 2026).

To ensure a seamless, engaging, and professional experience for both our in-person and virtual attendees, we kindly request that all presenters carefully review and adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Presentation Schedule & Verification

  • Check the Program: Please refer to the official conference e-program book for your specific presentation date, time, and assigned session room (or virtual track).

  • Verify Your Details: Ensure your full name, paper title, and institutional affiliation are listed correctly in the program. If you spot any discrepancies, please notify the Secretariat immediately at icaetscbatam2026@gmail.com.

2. Time Allocation & Language

Whether you are presenting physically or virtually, the time structure remains exactly the same to ensure fairness across all tracks:

  • Total Duration: 15 minutes per presenter.

  • Breakdown: 10 minutes for the main presentation, followed by 5 minutes for an interactive Q&A session with the audience and track chair.

  • Language: All spoken presentations, slides, and accompanying visual materials must be delivered in English.

3. Guidelines for Physical Presenters (Batam, Indonesia)

  • Punctuality: Please arrive at your designated session room at least 15 minutes before your track is scheduled to begin.

  • Technical Setup: The committee will provide a dedicated laptop, LCD projector, and laser pointer in every room.

  • Slide Management: Bring your presentation files (.ppt, .pptx, or .pdf) on a USB flash drive. Please upload your slides to the session computer and test any embedded videos or animations before your session officially starts.

4. Guidelines for Virtual Presenters

  • Punctuality & Platform: Please log into the digital conference platform at least 10 minutes prior to your session. (The official access link will be emailed to you closer to the event date).

  • Hardware Requirements: Ensure you are in a quiet environment with a stable internet connection, a functional microphone, and a clear webcam. Live delivery is highly encouraged to foster engagement.

  • Mandatory Backup: To mitigate any unforeseen technical or connectivity issues, all virtual presenters must submit a backup copy of their presentation slides in advance.

5. Certification & Acknowledgement

  • Certificates: Official Certificates of Presentation will be issued to your registered email address or given physically after the conference concludes, subject to attendance verification by the Track Chair.
